Onslaught
This band started out as a Discharge worship punk band and later turned into a famous metal band. Here's their early demos. At times they gave Discharge a run for their money.
the Transistors
well, the douchebag from Open Circuit records shut down every tranistors video on youtube, including the one i had put up of both of their 7"s. I recommend you track them both down, they're both stand-outs for uk82 band and they both sound like different bands, but not in a bad way. The first being catchier and the second more aggressive.

"new" band - Further Charges
Further Charges, from the Russian Federation, have been around since around 2010(?). They started as more of a Chaos UK and other obscure hardcore/noisy uk82-type inspired band who i had only heard 4 songs from on myspace. Which was later wittled down to 2 myspace songs and then some live songs recorded and filmed on video.
I once tried to bribe them with cider to tour here in the states. Needless to say that wasn't enough, but the singer Dima seems fuckin cool and got arrested for breaking into a liquor store and stealing alcohol, if my memory serves right. That's all i gotta hear, right there.
Anyway, they have a full length casette out ("Destruction Satellite", partially posted below and available from Soap and Spikes distro) and have moved past the just purely raw noisy punk stage of many years ago but stay true to uk82 and 80s hardcore punk.

Contingent are a current band who have 80's punk and obvious 80's european oi influences.Hoepfully they stick around and make more music. Offhand i know the band has some guys from Bloodkrow Butcher and Who Killed Spikey Jacket? This is missing one song from their cassette - the song "Right to Die"

SKUNX - Toronto, Canada
Skunx had a unique sound, sorta like uk82 meets a mix of midtempo, raw 80's french, british and even italian& south american oi! melodies and beats. They have recently broken up and sadly only left behind a few tapes and 2 comp tracks. Here is most of their recorded songs:

GERM ATTAK - RIP. Ottawa, Canada
They had a good noisy UK82 sound gooing on mixed with some swedish hc i nthere and as theyr progressed they mixed in a little bit of the finish hardcore style,, and near the end of their career they had adopted a more melodic uk82 approach to their previous style. I will add more stuff later, they have too much music and im lazy.

not sure what the fuck i am doing. burning off some music OCD hopefulyl to the benefit of someone less versed in uk82 and finding new shit in the process. i mgiht have soem of the less obvious RAC bands. no i don;t liek nazis, i like music fro ma certain time and place and can;t get enough so when 80's RAC sounds like Oi cuz it has no bullshit in the lyrics, then i don't give a fuck. this blog will be bare bones. maybe i will do one on uk82 bands and one on 80s uk oi bands, not with videos. im gonna run outta videos fast anyways.... not many people had them back then. whatever, hopefully someone enjoys this or learns something new
